Starting his career in consulting, Scott Lipinski had his first encounter with the fashion industry when he met the designer Wolfgang Joop who quickly became a mentor, and he hasn’t looked back since. Now leading Fashion Council Germany (founded in 2015), which includes a long lineup of German designers, the road to gaining awareness for fashion as a recognized German industry has been paved.
The past few months have been somewhat of a roller coaster ride for Scott and his team at the German Fashion Council. Not only has the current lockdown situation affected local physical retailers, but business as usual. It is now the German Fashion Council’s job to provide the correct advice and guidelines for its members to face these challenges.
